In this past week…
WE GOT A NEW WASHING MACHINE!
shopping
installing
just the way every laundry closet should look…2 functioning machines, and a pug.
IT LIVES!
This is not just exciting because we can stop trekking to my parent’s house to wash pajamas, but also because now I can dive headfirst into cloth diapering!
I didn’t get any comments here (for shame!) but my twitter, tumblr and facebook were bombarded with brand suggestions and advice on cloth diaper protocol, so thank you to all those who commented. I decided (for now) to get a couple of one-size BumGenius diapers to see how little man takes to them before buying more of the same or possibly trying another brand. (Hey, these things aren’t cheap! It’s an investment that is cheaper in the long run, because I won’t have to ever buy a diaper again no matter how many kids I have once I get stocked up, but they’re like, $15 each and a proper supply is at least a dozen!)
YAY!!!
I will, of course, update when they arrive and when we start using them. SO EXCITED!!!

Hubs just inspected Pig’s crate while putting him away for the night…he found, among other things, one of my flip-flops and an empty box of batteries. Officially, our dog is a hoarder.
Me with both my little ones ;)
Week 20! We’ve hit the halfway mark! Less than 20 weeks (supposedly) til we meet our little sir!
This week, I’m still having morning sickness, which is pretty annoying considering it was “supposed” to stop at week 14…I’m also having pelvic and back pain like WHOA!!! My little honey is making himself comfy, for sure.
According to one of the many pregnancy websites I’m using to track our progress, this week I’m “carrying around 10.5 inches and 10.5 ounces of solid magical baby goodness!”…Idk how accurate that is, considering that at his 17 week ultrasound, I was told he weighed 6 oz when he “should” have weighed almost 5.
Hubs is making me love him more and more everyday, which I didn’t know was possible. He always greets the baby when he gets home from work and gets real close to my tummy to talk to the baby…they have conversations about the days happenings, what we’re having for dinner, my mood swings ;) and mostly hubs tries to convince the baby to lay off the pains he’s putting me through. LOL
In less than a week, we have another ultrasound! Very excited to see my honey again!
